Welcome to Talmud Torah School

Welcome to Talmud Torah School! We are a dynamic, unique, inclusive, Kindergarten through Grade 6 school with a single track integrated Hebrew Bilingual and Judaic Studies program. We are proud of the partnership between the Talmud Torah Society and Edmonton Public Schools which was established in 1975 and made Talmud Torah School the only Jewish Day School in North America that is part of a public school system. In our integrated curriculum of both general/secular and Judaic studies, we challenge our students to reason, question, and analyze, as well as provide opportunities for independent thinking and creative expression. We embrace the Edmonton Public School Board's values of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and equity as well as the core values of Jewish living.

Pre-enrolment and Registration Update

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the deadline to help our school get ready for 2024–25!

We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 22, 2024, have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!

New to the Division or registering a Kindergarten student?
Instead of using SchoolZone, students who are new to Edmonton Public Schools need to submit a completed Student Registration form. Find the form and list of supporting documents you need to provide.

If you need help, contact the school.  Our office opens Aug. 21, 2024.

School Supplies for 2024-2025

Parents have the option of using the School Start company to purchase supplies or purchase items using the lists on the seconc page of the document.

I am honoured to serve the Talmud Torah School community. Our school has a rich culture and many traditions. I appreciate working closely with the students, staff, parents and partners to support student success. Being an educator is a special career because each day brings joy and unique learning opportunities.
